Publication Charges

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Articles accepted after peer review are subject to an article processing charge (APC) of IDR 1,000,000 or 50 USD. This APC covers peer review, copyediting, typesetting, and journal administrative expenses. Article submission is free of charge. 

Discount Policy

Authors may be eligible for the following publication fee discounts:

  1. Indonesian authors collaborating with international authors:
    • up to 20% discount for manuscripts involving one international affiliation co-author
    • up to 40% discount for manuscripts involving two or more international affiliation co-authors
  2. Fully international authors: up to 50% discount
  3. Best Author in the previous issue: up to 50% discount
  4. Authors affiliated with Universitas Pakuan (UNPAK): up to 50% discount (limited)
  5. Editorial Board Members of Helium J Sci Appl Chem: up to 100% discount (limited)
  6. International Reviewers of Helium J Sci Appl Chem: up to 100% discount
  7. Domestic Reviewers of Helium J Sci Appl Chem: up to 30% discount
  8. Partners of Helium J Sci Appl Chem: 10% discount (List of Partners)

Only one discount scheme may be applied to each manuscript. Discounts are not applicable to manuscripts submitted under the fast-track publication scheme. All discounts are subject to editorial approval and do not influence editorial decisions, the peer-review process, or publication priority.

Notes:

  • To purchase the printed version, please send the request email to the editor: [email protected]. Printing fee per issue: IDR 100,000 or USD 5, excluding postage.
  • Authors who require an accelerated editorial and peer-review process may submit a fast-track review request to the editorial office. The request must be made formally by the corresponding author and should include a clear reason for requesting expedited processing. The fast-track review service is subject to editorial approval and reviewer availability. All manuscripts submitted through the fast-track review process will still undergo the standard editorial screening and peer-review procedure in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and quality standards. If the fast-track request is approved, an additional fast-track processing fee may be applied. (Download Fast Track Request Form)
